Industrial wastes have a variety of hazardous contents comprising empty drums, damaged / expired raw materials / products and combustible / non-combustible materials. There is no industrial landfill facility in Pakistan. The incinerable waste be segregated for incinerator and the metallic waste be baled for induction furnaces for recycling. The PVC waste be avoided to be incinerated. The plastic drums be cut / crushed to avoid it re-used. The nonhazardous organic waste including kitchen waste may be used for biogas followed by composting either by Wind Rows of microbial decomposition or by Wind Rows of Vermi- Composting.
